Raggle Taggle formed long enough ago to now be more like a family. The group draws on folk music from many traditions though we do inject modern spins.
We’re driven by a love of music and seeing the pleasure given at a whole range of events and settings – concerts, parties, celebrations, dances, fundraisers, busking and just background.
Unless Peter is away delivering one of his harpsicords or Jim is gigging at Glastonbury, there could be up to eight of us on stage including two vocals and a real spread of instruments.
We’ve yet to play at the “02” but who wants to appear in London when we can practice and perform at our Town Hall, with such great character and atmosphere.
