I first ‘found’ Yoga more than 30 years ago – when I was looking for something to ease nagging back pain – the result of hours sat in my London studio, working as a Textile Designer.
In that first Yoga class I not only found an exercise that eased my aching back, but a completely holistic practice for body, mind and soul. This lead me, in 1992 to India, where I gained my first qualification to teach Yoga.
I have travelled to India (the birthplace of Yoga) frequently, for inspiration. While studying Tibetan Buddhism, I met and married my husband, in Dharamsala, the home of the Dalai Lama. After our move to Bath and the birth of our son, I decided to train as a Pre and Postnatal Yoga teacher. Since 2013 I have encouraged many women to enjoy a healthy, relaxed and positive pregnancy and birth, through the practice of Yoga.
I am really excited to be bringing a range of mindful, relaxing Yoga classes to Trowbridge Town Hall. I’m passionate about making Yoga accessible to all, in a positive, noncompetitive environment and I look forward to welcoming you to a class soon.
