In 2019, we first met Strike a Light. We were striking as part of the Fridays for Future movement: shouting in the streets of Gloucester for the survival of our planet, and often having abuse shouted back at us. Strike a Light offered us their office space to hold our meetings and now, two years later, we have created a new live theatre show together – I stand for what I stand on.

I stand for what I stand on is a show about the climate crisis but it is also a show about us and the international digital cast: about what it means to be a young activist in today’s world. We have learnt a lot about how theatre can be used as a tool for activism and now we would love to share this. If you are aged 14 to 18 and agree that something must be done to save this precious Earth and guard our futures, please come and join us for a free workshop at Trowbridge Town Hall on 28th October from 2pm to 4pm.
