Jealous Tina are a Bath based neo-soul 5 piece formed in 2018. Taking creative influence from the work of Arlo Parks, Puma Blue and Lianne La Havas, they deliver a tight and punchy line up of poetic lyricism and passionate melodies. Their unique sound is revealed through the soulful vocals and sweet-sounding saxophone of front woman Rosie Patton, accompanied by jazz infused keys and a punchy, groove soaked rhythm section.
+ SUPPORT FROM AARON DOUGLAS
In an attempt to avoid using the phrase “singer-songwriter”, Aaron Douglas describes his music as Melodramatic, Alternative, Folk rock.
Whether playing solo or with his full band, there is always a deliberate emphasis on dynamic, soaring vocals, and a smattering of various different accents and silly musings in between songs, coupled with lyrical content usually born out of people watching, satirical news websites and depression catharsis. These qualities have allowed him to support the likes of James Bay, Gavin James, Jack Garratt & Scott Matthews, whilst also picking up endorsements with Elixir Strings, Lakewood Guitars, & Logarhythm stompers. His latest achievements include reaching number 6 in the iTunes Singer Songwriter chart with his debut single “Shipwrecks”, having tracks from his 2nd EP “Battles” played on BBC6 music.
