Many moons ago Ed Patrick visited his local car boot sale with a ten pound note and re-turned with a plastic guitar, a child’s keyboard and a toy tape deck. He put his name into an online anagram generating machine and Kid Carpet was born.
Hundreds of gigs got smashed as headline and support to acts like Art Brut, Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, Electric 6, Willy Mason and Arcade Fire and over the past 17 years Kid Carpet has picked up an international reputation as a pioneer of catchy, lo-fi electro-pop music.
Kid Carpet also makes punk theatre and music shows for families and childish adults. His Noisy Animals shows have toured consistently since 2012 incorporating a wonky blend of music, puppetry and video projection.
This is a standing show with limited seating available.
