Since last September the Town Hall has brought you delicious food from the Lebanon, China and Italy, all accompanied by world-class musicians.
On Friday April 28th, we will be celebrating Trowbridge’s reputation as the home to the second largest Moroccan community in the UK outside of London. Moroccan cuisine has had a significant influence on the recipes found throughout Spain and southern France, fusing an abundance of fresh ingredients into unique dishes that have been adopted throughout the world.
Local chef, Bouchra Miri will prepare a sumptuous banquet, followed by a performance from world-renown Moroccan musician, Simo Lagnawi, accompanied by his band. And if that’s not enough to whet your appetite, we will have a henna artist in attendance to decorate your hands, should you wish.
A ticket for banquet and band is just £25, or you can purchase a ticket for only Simo’s performance for £8. Please note, if you’re purchasing a music only ticket, you will not be permitted to enter the building until 9pm.
There is a delicious set menu for this event, so please be sure to let us know of any dietary requirements or allergies for everyone in your party at the time of booking.
Please book for your whole group. Those booked separately may be seated separately.
To avoid the online booking fee please phone our box office on 01225 774306. Open Monday to Saturday, 10am – 4pm.
