-Recollections

Local artists Alex Compton, Nicola Davis, Joanne Spencer and Samuel Lindup have come together to create a group exhibition, using art to express their thoughts and feelings about human existence. Painting, drawing, sculpture, fused glass, print making and silk painting have all been used to explore the artists’ own personal journeys through life.  The exhibition explores subjects such as the wonders of the universe and earth’s unique nature, human evolution and cultural beliefs, the self-destruction of humans through war and propaganda, and the response to the anxiety caused by the pressure to conform as witnessed through the body positivity movement.
