A pre-Christmas celebration that brings together two of Europe’s most vibrant cultures, the Italian and Irish. We are so privileged to welcome Luca Rossi, one of Italy’s most versatile performers and a leading exponent of the tammorra, a hand-held drum that happens to be very similar to the bodhrán that gives much of Irish traditional music its pulsating rhythm.
Luca will be joined by the remarkable Ruairi Glasheen, virtuosa bodhrán player and celebrated filmmaker. Together, they make a mesmerizing duo.
And to get you in the mood for the music, a delicious three-course Italian feast.
Starter – Classic Panzanella Salad (Tuscan style Tomato and Bread salad)
Main – Rich Mushroom Risotto
Dessert – Tiramisu
Great Italian wine to wash it down with, available at £15 a bottle or £3.50 per glass.
£30 per ticket with a free glass of Italian wine on arrival.
