Introducing Our New CEO

Trowbridge Town Hall Trust is delighted to welcome Tom Maddicott as Chief Executive Officer. As the organisation emerges from the building’s multi-million-pound restoration, this marks a hugely transformative and exciting moment in its journey.

Tom has worked in the arts for the past 30 years as both an event promoter and an artist, and he also ran Moles in Bath for 12 years. For the past four years he has been working for Music Venue Trust, most recently as head of live events, supporting grassroots venues across the country.

Tom says:

“I’m very excited by this opportunity. The venue is simply stunning, and I look forward to working closely with the local community, not only to bring major artists and productions to Trowbridge but also to collaborate with local schools, colleges, societies, and groups. The goal is to make sure the arts are accessible to everyone in the area and to foster a new generation of artists, technical crews, and audiences by providing a welcoming, accessible, and sustainable hub for inspiration.”

Town Hall Trust Chair, David Price, says:

“It is a great pleasure for the Trust to announce that Tom is joining our team as our new CEO. Tom’s experience in running live music venues, coupled with his knowledge of the local arts and live music scene will be invaluable in securing the future of the Trowbridge Town Hall for another generation.”
