October ’23
• External perimeter scaffolding
• Internal strip-out alongside asbestos removal
• Hoist installed to transport materials to roof level
• Internal preparations in readiness for re-roofing
• Protection of key building elements internally
• Installation of safety netting to Great Hall
• Over 45 tonnes of waste removed, crushed and recycled from site this week
November ’23
• Internal strip out and demolition works continuing
• Licensed Asbestos works complete
• Stripping of roof to Great Hall has commenced
• Temporary weather proofing to roof that has been stripped
• Propping to underside of First Floor slab ahead of demolition work
• Demolition robot taken to first floor in readiness to commence works
• Non – Licensed asbestos floor tiles removed
• Cut opening in staircase for access and egress
• Floor level survey undertaken
December ’23
• Demolition works continued to remove Brickwork to Stairwell and Lift shaft in Great Hall
• Staircase from first floor to basement removed
• Scaffolding to Clocktower complete and sheeted
• Acoustic build up of roof to Park Road elevation nearing completion
• Scaffold Handrail and Deck complete to Floor infill
• Screed removal from areas within the Great Hall
• Rubble cleared from the basement
Upcoming Activities
• Continue to build up new roof – Gutters and detailing
• Demolition of lift shaft to ground floor
• Commence Stone repairs
