Trowbridge Town Hall Trust is a charity, formed in 2012. It manages the historic building at the heart of the town, restoring and reenergising it as a creative and civic hub for the town. The building is used for choirs, dance classes, yoga, community meetings and markets. It’s home to the Free Range Café, and ten creative studios. We’ve a gallery for visual art exhibitions and programme live music, theatre and film.

The organisation has plans for a multimillion-pound development to restore the building, increase its use and catalyse development of the town centre. The Town Hall Trust’s vision is for a creative, cohesive and confident town.

The Bookings Coordinator plays a key role in the day to day running of the Town Hall. You will oversee and administrate the hire of our spaces for community and corporate use, from the initial enquiry right through to the delivery of the event.

You will be the main point of contact for those hiring our spaces and ensuring by working with the Town Hall team their requirements are met. You will work closely with the Venue Manager and the Community & Partnerships Manager to ensure the Town Hall is offering the best possible experience for the people using its spaces, and making sure the team knows what’s needed to make the events go off without a hitch. You will ensure that the rooms are ready for each person using them and are always left in a suitable state. Working with the Finance Officer, you will generate invoices for the room bookings.

This role includes working as one of our Duty Managers which involves opening and closing the building, working front of house for events, and being the onsite fire steward and first aider.

This role is to be carried out at Trowbridge Town Hall and may involve evening and weekend work.

No experience is necessary, but competent IT skills, great communication/interpersonal skills, good organisation and having a keen eye for detail is essential.
