Work With Us: Bookings & Events Coordinator

Location: Trowbridge Town Hall
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as required
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 depending on experience

Trowbridge Town Hall Trust is seeking a proactive and organised Bookings & Events Coordinator to help shape the next chapter of our historic venue.

Fresh from a major refurbishment, the Town Hall is expanding its role as a cultural and community hub – with a growing programme of live music, theatre, exhibitions, and outreach projects, alongside spaces for hire by local groups, businesses, and individuals.

This role is key to the day-to-day running of the building, overseeing venue hires and supporting the smooth delivery of in-house events. You’ll oversee the full booking process from enquiry to delivery, and provide practical support across programmed events, helping us create a welcoming, well-run, and lively venue for all.

You’ll also act as Duty Manager during your shifts, ensuring the building is safe, clean, and operating smoothly. This is a hands-on role at the heart of a small, supportive team, perfect for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in making things run well.

We’re looking for someone with strong organisational skills, a warm and professional manner, and experience in events, venue hire, or hospitality. If you enjoy working with people, surrounded by community and creativity, and you’re keen to make things happen with an eye for detail and a practical, organised approach – we’d love to hear from you.
