Pay scale: £40,000-45,000 starting salary
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours) – some evening and weekend work will be required
Location: Trowbridge, Wiltshire
We are looking for a bold and visionary leader to shape the next chapter of Trowbridge Town Hall.
Fresh from a transformative multi-million pound refurbishment, our historic building is preparing to open its doors once again – with an exciting new chapter just around the corner. This is your chance to take the reins of a beautiful, reimagined space in the heart of Trowbridge – a blank canvas brimming with potential.
Rooted in community and powered by creativity, Trowbridge Town Hall is ready to grow. We’re seeking a CEO with ambition, imagination, and a deep commitment to people and place. Someone who can take an already respected organisation and lead it to its next level of impact – locally, regionally and nationally.
You’ll lead a skilled and passionate team, nurture strategic partnerships, develop an inclusive programme that combines artistic excellence with grassroots engagement, and generate the income needed to support a bold, sustainable future.
This is more than a leadership role – it’s an opportunity to shape a creative community space for the next generation.
We’re looking for someone who:
Is an inspiring and collaborative leader with experience in strategic delivery.
Has a track record of fundraising and developing new income streams.
Brings creativity, empathy, and entrepreneurial thinking to the table.
Is passionate about the power of arts, heritage and community.
Can confidently lead a growing team and engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
Whether you come from the cultural sector, community development, or a different field entirely, if you’re passionate about connection, creativity, and making a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
